“You have to get your patient numb and have brand new or really sharp instruments.”
“You want them to be comfortable, but more importantly you want them to be safe.”
“A block means that you are giving the injection further away from the site that you want to have numb AND you are getting multiple structures numb at the same time. With an infiltration you are only getting one structure at a time.”
“Give yourself a kickstand so you don’t feel like you’re falling all over the place.”
“If you feel one with yourself, the patient and the syringe that will help the shakes.”
