“At an FQHC 50% of the Board of Directors need to be patients or clients of the FQHC.”
“It is a way to ensure the care is by and for the people.”
“I would wake up to the cooler trucks going down Broadway to go store more bodies.”
“It was a daily reminder of the massive loss of life that is still going on.”
“HIV doesn’t affect the day to day of dentistry.”
“I learned that a lot of our education is outdated in terms of how safe we need to be.”
“You need to treat HIV patients like any other patient.”
“I think after graduating we have to unlearn a lot of things.”
“I see a lot of people who have never had dental care, or it’s been decades.”
“This is what the world is like when there are no barriers to scientific research.”
“We have less than 25% compliance with the vaccine in our clinic, and because of that, we probably will not be given future doses.”
“We have a public responsibility to each other.”
“I believe that if you don’t believe in, and pay into the ADHA, you have no right to demand.”
